Using the desktop application of both, why do certain .pdf files open as a blank page in Adobe Acrobat Pro (32 bit) but open 'normally' in Adobe Acrobat Reader (32 bit)?

Hi @David Veenstra, Esq.

Thanks for reporting this to us.

If the same document opens fine with Acrobat Reader (32-bit) but not with Acrobat Pro, you may check a couple of things to see if that helps:

1- Close Acrobat completely and reopen it

2-Open Acrobat Pro>help>check for update

To download the patch manually, more information about this release is here: Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader

3- Navigate to Acrobat>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected View" and "Enhanced Security">OK>close and reopen Acrobat and check back.

Note: these changes are only for testing purposes. Once tested, please change it back to the previous setting.

Let us know If it still doesn't work.

Thanks,

Akanchha

Installed: Adobe Acrobat (22.003.20322)

Disabled Protected View Enhanced Security

Exited and restarted, still opens blank.

Rebooted and still opens blank.

Is it the document?  (a download from public records)
