I have 500 individual documents. Each document has a person's name and ID#I would like to scan all of these documents and then I hope that there is a product from Adobe that can read the ID# and then save each of the 500 documents using that ID number. I ask because I could then upload each document to the information system under the person's account. Is this possible using Adobe?

Yes, it might be possible in Acrobat Pro, but it will require a custom-made script. There's no built-in command that does it.
