Does Adobe Pro not have snaplines similar to PDFescape?

I've used PDFescape and Adobe Pro and the biggest thing that seems to be missing for me in Adobe Pro is the ability to have objects snap to lines of other objects. The grid is just not good enough for this purpose. How are people making forms with Adobe Pro and not driving themselves crazy trying to line up fields with each other?

For example if I create two form fields stacked on top of each other and I drag to align the bottom field to the left edge of the top field it has no concept of doing that "snap". It makes it extremely difficult to align items in Adobe Pro.

Can someone please advise if I am just totally missing something here?

That is brutal. How do people make forms with aligned edges?


Ah, you can align form fields. Select two (or more) fields in Form Edit mode, right-click one of them and look under the Align, Distribute or Center sub-menu.

Hi Steve. No that is not what I'm looking for. That will only snap your selection to the grid (which in my post says is not useful to me). See below image and imagine that the red line is a snapline to the top field's left edge. Also, pretend I'm moving the below field to line it up and then the snapline appears so that I've now perfectly aligned the left edge with the field above.

There's no such feature in Acrobat.
