Question

Does anyone know how to cancel an account before the free trial period is up?

I received an email message telling me that I would be charged in 30 days after my trial is up, with the following link:

"You will be charged US$23.88 (plus tax) annually. At the end of your one-year term, your subscription will automatically renew annually until you cancel (price subject to change). Cancel anytime via Adobe Account or Customer Support"

However, when I try to cancel the account, it says that I have to have an active subscription in order to cancel it.  The AI assistant was no help.  Anyone know how to do this so I can cancel before I get charged?  Aaaaaaargh.  I miss the days with actual phones to call actual real people.

Try it here: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cancel-subscription-acrobat-online-services.html

You must be logged into the account associated with the trial you started, though.

If that doesn't work you can contact Adobe directly via these channels:

Chat support: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
(make sure pop-ups are not blocked; type "Agent" to chat with a real person, or via phone, during working hours)
Twitter: https://twitter.com/AdobeCare
There's no email support.

Beware of people contacting you via the forums' messaging system pretending to work for Adobe! Only those with an "Adobe Employee" tag under their name are legit. Also, Adobe will never offer to contact you via Skype, or use an email account that's not under the adobe.com domain...
