Question

Download button does nothing

For over a dozen years, I've logged into my bank's website to download monthly statements in pdf format. For some reason the Adobe Acrobat app no longer allows you to complete this action. When I pull up the statement on screen and select the download button, nothing happens. I'm able to download statements in pdf format from all my other secured online accounts for credit cards and other bank accounts without issue. There's no pop-up blocker on. And permissions are enabled. Please advise as to solution. Thank you.

Best is indeed to try with an alternate browser. Adobe may be responsible for many bugs in their software, but they are not yet running your bank or your browser. Adobe Acrobat starts working when the download is done and you open the PDF file in Acrobat.

That's probably something to do with the bank website of the statement itself. If the rest of the other online sites allowing you to download the statement, then it can't be a plugin issue.

You are using the Acrobat browser plugin to manage files, right? Most of web browsers use its own inbuilt PDF viewer for displaying files and downloading files.

As suggested by the expert, change the web browser and then try. Or delete the cache and cookies of the current one and then try.

Thanks,

Try a other web browser.
