Downloaded Adobe PDF Pack and Cannot Open PDF's on Laptop

After downloading a newly purchased Adobe Acrobat PDF Pack, I could not open existing PDF's in my files. Only new documents on the Adobe Cloud file would open. I am stuck not being able to access my original files.
