Draw freehand tool is automatically switching to select tool.

When I want to tick something, I use the draw freehand tool. But past 2 days, it is going wrong. I click the mouse, hold it and draw something. But as soon as I lift my finger, it switches instantly to "Select" tool. 

I tried re downloading Adobe Acrobat. But everytime, the same happens. 

I'll be happy to recieve response.

To keep the Draw Freehand tool active, simply click on the tool, then select the Thumbtack (📌) icon located just below it. This will ensure the tool remains selected, as shown in the screenshot below.
