drop down interactive graphics in pdf

Im trying to create a pdf (via indesign) that has 3 chooseable stars (green, red, orange)

So my end user can adjust ratings for a venue each week. 

 

Each star below, would need to be selectable from 3 colour choices.

 

This possible?

You cannot have a dropdown with graphic elements. Dropdowns in Acrobat (or PDF in general) are always text only.

What you can do, though, is use a drop-down to show/hide other elements (fields, mostly) so if you create the stars in advance as button fields with an icon you could use a drop-down with a description of the various options to show the correct image. This will require quite a bit of setting up, though, and a custom-made script.
