Duplex printing won't work

Question

I have an issue in Windows 10 with Acrobat Reader DC version XI and the Brother MFC-L2700DW printer. No option for duplex or double sided printing available. Any other application (Word, Excel, Edge etc.) allows to print. The printer definitely is able to duplex print. This must be an issue the app. I tried the "cleaner" and reinstalling the reader, as was posted in an earlier discussion. It did not resolve the problem. I'm killing trees! And I'm wasting paper! Help!!!

When I go to printing preferences, I can go to Layout, but the ONLY option that is there (aside from the Advanced button at the bottom) is Portrait or Landscape. There is nothing more on the screen.

Hi legost2,

Please try once to open the application as administrator.

Right click on Adobe Reader DC shortcut icon and select "Run as administrator" from the drop down.

Then try to print and check if you get the option.

Could you please confirm the dot version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed on your system.
