I AM INSERTING SUBMITTALS TO CREATE A PDF BUT WHEN I INSERT DUPLICATE PRODUCT PAGES WITH DIFFERENT TYPES

IT REVERTS BACK TO THE FIRST PRODUCT PAGE THAT I INSERTED AND CHANGES ANY PRODUCT ID TO THE ORIGINAL PAGE

NOT SURE WHY BUT SAY I INSERT TYPE A OF A PRODUCT AND THEN THE SAME PRODUCT WITH TYPE B ON IT IT WILL CHANGE THE TYPE B TO A

AND THE PRODUCT ID AS WELL..

Please don't post in all-caps. It's akin to shouting and is considered rude.

This is most likely happening because you have fields in both files with the same names. When you merge the files the fields become copies of one another, as fields in the same file with the same name will always have the same values. That's why one set of values is lost.

The solution is to either rename the fields or flatten the pages before merging the files.
