I am working in Organize Pages, highlight the pages that I need to extract and all of a sudden Adobe duplicates those selected pages. How can I stop that from happening?

Are you highlighting them by Ctrl+clicking them? If so, if you hold down Ctrl while clicking and moving the page, it will indeed duplicate it. There's no way to prevent that from happening.

I am new to adobe. I was doing the same thing yesterday. This morning when looking it up. Copilot says DO NOT use Ctrl+Click, use SHIFT+ Click instead and your page will not duplicate. Sorry, I haven't tried it yet. but hopefully this works.

I never had that. Maybe you start with explaining your OS and version, your Acrobat and version, and you show, with screenshots, what happens.
