I have created a new stamp on the Dynamic Stamp pdf file (by Copying a page and amending the text). This works fine. However when i copy this pdf file to another user, it takes my user id on the stamp. Does anyone know how i can change this?

Hi Jatinh

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described when you copy the pdf file with dynamic stamp to another user, it takes your user id on the stamp.

To use the dynamic stamp on multiple computers, copy the file to the following program directory.

  • Windows 7/ 10: [install_directory]\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\plug_ins\Annotations\Stamps\[language _directory]\
    For example, C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\plug_ins\Annotations\Stamps\ENU\

  • Mac OS: /Applications/Adobe Acrobat DC/Adobe Acrobat Pro.app/Contents/Built-In/Comments.acroplugin/Stamps/[language _directory]/

And se if that works for you https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/create-custom-dynamicstamp.html also you may check the correct answer marked in the similar discussion https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/export-my-custom-stamps-to-share-with-others/m-p/10787620#M231846

How does you set the user id in the stamp?

Used id is my login name which i assume is picked up by the script on the stamp

Then change the script.

May be that you have saved the user id in the stamp.
