Dynamics GP email PDF issue

I am trying to set up email PDF in Dynamics GP. I have Acrobat installed but when trying to perform the email PDF function it returns an error “error registering distiller window class 1410”. Acrobat was installed from Creative Cloud, and the few results I get searching this error seem to indicate a license issue.  Do I need to purchase the standalone Acrobat in order for this to work?
