Question

e-sign all broken

My boss has asked me to set up a contract to be e-signed. We have full acrobat suite but for the life of me I cannot get this to work.

When I click e-sign in the top running tabs, I am only allowed to sign, but it just has two spinning beach balls there anyhow.

If I click the ‘request e-signatures’ button at the bottom of the ‘all tools' bar, it does nothing. multiple clicks and nothing on screen anywhere happens.

Before I just give up and use docusign, am I missing something obvious, or is this yet another ‘quirk’ of acrobat?

Having the same issue, I cannot open, edit, revise, or use any esign template. When I download the template to manually fill it, it doesn’t let me. Adobe you need to fix this ASAP.

    Hi digitaloverlords,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble caused.

As mentioned earlier, you are unable to open or modify the template. Could you please provide more details about the issue? Are you receiving any error messages? It would be helpful if you could share a short video demonstrating the workflow you are using and what happens during the process.

Let us know if you need any help.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi

It’s kind of hidden in your Prepare Form tools. Using what you’d think would work, the Fill and Sign tools, links you to using Acrobat’s Adobe Sign servers and services for additional fees.

If you just want to create a signature for using in-house, I’d suggest you read the following link to see exactly how to do that:

    https://www.pandadoc.com/blog/create-electronic-signature-adobe/

The following link from Wayne University is a handy tool for helping your organization sign and return PDF documents without using Adobe Sign servers and services. Test thoroughly for the best way for you to best implement this workflow:

    https://sis.wayne.edu/students/technology/digital_signature_dec_2020_updated.pdf

Of course, if you want to take full advantage of the signing and tracking capabilities of Adobe Sign, which provides the services you’d expect of Docusign, you can find more about Adobe’s tools here:

    https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/business/sign.html

    Hope this helps,
