E-Sign Autofill Corrections

How do I make a correction to the e-sign auto-fill options?  Example:  John Smith signs contracts using the email address jsmith@email.com.  Accidentally, once it was entered as jsmuth@email.com.  Now, the auto-fill is populating the incorrect email address at each occasion.  Is there a way to clear out this individual auto-fill, or alternatively to clear out them all so that it can be corrected?

Thank you.

Hi,

I hope you are doing well, and apologize for the delayed response.

To correct or remove incorrect auto-fill entries in Adobe Acrobat's Fill & Sign feature, follow these steps:

  1. Access Preferences:

    • Open Adobe Acrobat.
    • Click on Edit (Windows) or Acrobat (Mac) in the menu bar.
    • Select Preferences from the dropdown menu.
  2. Navigate to Forms Settings:

    • In the Preferences window, choose Forms from the list on the left.
  3. Manage Auto-Complete Entries:

    • In the Auto-Complete section, click on the Edit Entry List... button.
    • A dialog box will appear, displaying all saved entries.
    • Select the incorrect entry you wish to remove and click Delete.
    • Repeat for any other entries you want to delete.
    • Click OK to save your changes.
  4. Disable Auto-Complete (Optional):

If you prefer to turn off the Auto-Complete feature entirely:

      • In the Auto-Complete dropdown menu, select Off.
      • Click OK to apply the changes.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
