E-Signature Error Closes Adobe Acrobat

I'm having the same issue.  Tried the the recommendations.  Continuous Release Version 2023.008.20470.  Cannot locate a check for updates.  Tried repair, twice.  When I click on the signature icon or Fill and Sign, Acrobat closes.  Do not get an error screen.  Problem started about 2 months ago.   Thanks for any assistance

I am currently having this same issue, everytime I open up a document and click "fill & sign" and proceed to click "esignatures" the adobe completely closes out and shows the same error box that the commenter above was seeing back in March. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, I also have ran your clean up tool and then reinstalled, I don't know why it keeps closing out. Any help?

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.
 
What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.01.20604 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
 
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
 
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/43oz7em and check.
