is the e-signature feature in adobe professional a digitial signature?  With these charateristics?

  • Encryption of the signature to validate the original signatory;
  • Documentation of the signature, which provides certification that the signatory can be uniquely identified and linked to the signature;
  • The capture of a time and date stamp; and
  • The prevention of any unauthorized changes to a document after signature.

Exactly which feature are you referring too?  The Digital Certificate Signature field on a regular Acrobat form? or a signer field on a Fill and Sign form?
