Hello @Fancy_Gigglesecb2

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. Sorry for the trouble you had.

Could you please share more details about the issue? Are you receiving an error message when attempting to access services through the Acrobat or free Reader desktop application? Are you trying to access the services via Acrobat Online?

Are you on a Mac or Windows machine, and what is the version? Is it happening with all the PDFs, or specific to one?

Test on a completely different network first (this is the fastest diagnostic). Try Request e-signatures on a phone hotspot or different Wi-Fi, and temporarily turn off any VPN, antivirus, or corporate firewall. E-sign talks to separate Adobe Acrobat Sign servers that your other Acrobat features do not use, so a firewall/VPN can block just e-sign while everything else works. If it works on the hotspot, that is your answer, and your IT team should allow-list the Acrobat Sign domains: .https://adobe.ly/3UOCBa2, .https://adobe.ly/3UPr0aL, .https://adobe.ly/4rfWGlL, .https://adobe.ly/4hkE93c, https://adobe.ly/4jfSoZk, plus https://adobe.ly/4cNem23 and https://adobe.ly/4iAeaa8.

Refresh your sign-in and check the plan. Sign out of Acrobat fully (Menu > Help > Sign Out), relaunch, and sign back in with the correct Adobe ID (pick Personal vs Company/School correctly if prompted). Then confirm at https://adobe.ly/4iFMu3L that your plan is active and includes Request e-signatures.

Update and repair the app. Menu > Help > Check for updates, then Menu > Help > Repair installation, and restart. Also try it in a browser at https://adobe.ly/4cNem23

I hope this helps, and please reach out if you need any assistance.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

Been trying for a few days now with the same "E-signing services are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later" message and then came to the forum.  First, ADOBE, why did you make something that used to be so simple.... so ridiculously difficult.  Requesting E-Signatures has been completely taken away from the desktop version, and the online version doesn't work.  Reading that the only solution seems to be upgrading the status and paying more, is ridiculous considering I have a corporate version.  Additionally, if this is the only fix, please change the message to "Contact Support" otherwise people like me waste 3 days thinking this problem is on Adobe's end.

Same error in both desktop app and browser when clicking "Request e-signatures"

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing the exact same error both in the desktop app and in the browser, so it doesn’t seem to be related to a local installation issue.

The error occurs when I click on "Request e-signatures". Nothing happens, or I receive an error message.

I’ve tried the following steps without success:

  • Restarting my PC

  • Reinstalling the desktop app

  • Trying different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox)

  • Clearing cache and cookies

Is anyone else seeing this issue? Any known fix?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Palle

I have done the same, and this has led to a complete work stoppage for me. I have tried all the options Tariq noted, and nothing works.

Please provide more information on what you're trying to do with E-signing services and Acrobat.

I am attempting to send a document out for others to sign.  On the desktop app I no longer have the option and on the web version I get the error message.

I have attempted all of the solutions provided.  I just finished clearing out the certifications and rebooting and still have the same issue.

Hi @Rob24692544bb9x

Sorry for the troubled experience, and thank you for reaching out.
I checked your Sign Account details. The account seems to be active and working, with no issues.

If you’re encountering the error message “E-signing services are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later” in Adobe Acrobat, this typically indicates a temporary disruption in the e-signature services. This can be due to various reasons, including server issues, account status, or local application problems. Please try the following and let us know how it works:

       1. Check Adobe Acrobat Sign Service Status:

  •      Before proceeding with other steps, verify if there’s a known service outage.
  •      Visit https://adobe.ly/3YKZVo1 to check the current status of Adobe Acrobat Sign services.

·     2. Sign Out and Restart:

  •      Sign out of your Adobe account within Acrobat.
  •      Close the application and restart your computer.
  •      Reopen Acrobat and sign back in with your Adobe ID.
  •      This can refresh your session and resolve temporary glitches.

·     3. Update Adobe Acrobat:

  •      Ensure you’re using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat.
  •      Go to Help > Check for Updates within the application.
  •      Installing the latest updates can fix known bugs and compatibility issues.

·      4. Try a Different Browser or Network:

  •      If you’re using the web version, try switching to a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, or Edge) to see if the issue persists.
  •      Alternatively, try accessing the service from a different network to rule out local connectivity issues.

·      5. Use Adobe Acrobat Online:

  •      Attempt to send the document for signature using the online version: Adobe Acrobat Online.
  •      This can help determine if the issue is specific to the desktop application.

·

·      6. Clear Credential Manager Entries (Advanced):

  •      Some users have resolved the issue by clearing outdated credentials:
  •      On Windows, open Credential Manager via the Control Panel.
  •      Remove any entries related to Adobe Acrobat Sign.
  •      Restart your computer and try accessing the service again.

o     Note: Proceed with caution and consider seeking IT support when performing this step
