Ecryption pdf version

hello community, would like to get some advice on how to encrypt a pdf and at the same time output it to pdf version 1.4 ? it seems 1.6 is the lowest version dc is able to output.

I agree, this is not possible according to my tests. However, you should also note that this Security set up does NOT output to a PDF type! It is not a PDF version converter, it only affects the type of security added.

This is not possible with Acrobat DC.
