Please ensure that the text colour is selected as black. Could you please confirm whether you are using the Edit PDF tool or the Comment tool to add text to the PDF? 

If you are using the Edit PDF tool, you can check the text colour in the right-hand pane. You may refer to the editing text information in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/4860q1A.

I am using the "sign yourself" button (the icon that looks like the tip of a fountain pen)  in the menu bar at the top (classic view). This is isolated to one computer.
