Question

Edit PDF Fonts are filled with Z@Rxxxx.tmp

Hello,

Product: Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020

Version: Up to date

Whenever I go to edit a PDF the options under Format that it lists are all various forms of Z@Rxxxx.tmp

I have to scroll all the way up to select a real font such as Arial. When typing with a tmp font it shows up as symbols.

I have already tried updating to latest version, repairing installation.

I have also tried to change the default font in the preferences menu but it did not do anything. I have also tried use local fonts but it also did not do anything.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Is this a scanned file that you OCR’ed? Does this happen with every PDF file you try to edit?
