Edit Word doc fields in Adobe Pro DC after already formatting it as a PDF

Created a Word doc with text blocks for the user to enter the info into once it is a the fillable PDF.  After formatting everything using Adobe Pro DC, I find some blocks are not right sized for the information.  Is there a way to edit these Word elements (text block sizes) in Adobe rather than having to start over again with a fresh Word document?
