Editable form field formats not working with java script disabled

Hi,

I have an editable PDF form set up.

Some fields have settings.  I have used:

Limit of characters in Options

Special format Arbitrary Mask in Format

Number format in Format

Date format in Format

Field value range in Validate

These settings don't seem to work for those with Java script disabled.  Is there a reason for this?

Is there any way to get these settings to work for the user completing the form without enabling Java script?

Thanks,
Karen

Thank you for replying.  Are there any field settings that can be used without JavaScript?

Are you aware of any way to personalise a form without this?  I just want to help those completing reduce keying errors.

JavaScipt is not an option as it's been designated a security risk to have it switched on.

Thanks,

Karen
