I have a drop down menu in a form it has about 75 selections and I need to delete 4 of the selections.  Every time I locate the entry I want to delete it jumps up to the top.  Why...it is driving me nuts.  Yes I choose Prepare Form option.

You can remove or change the duplicate export values.

As mentioned, this happens when you specify the same export value for multiple items (which you shouldn't do, really).

Instead of editing such a long list manually I would recommend using a script, like this one I've developed: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Import Items from a Text File to a Combo-Box or List Field

This happens when the entries have the same export value.
