Editing a pdf document

Hello - in the attached document I want to redact the advisor's info provided in the gray fillable lines - change the green backfill to blue and make a few other modifications.  When I go into edit it, I can only edit the fields, not in gray.  I don't want to have to redo the whole document.

Correct answer Thom Parker

see attached the client info that would not delete prior goes away as does the form field.  Do I have to go through the entire document and delete all the form fields, or is there an easier way?

Why not do a form reset? this will delete all the info in the specified form fields. Or if you really do want to remove the form fields, then a script could be written to do that, or to just hide them.

The only safe way to redact anything in a PDF file is by using the Redaction tool, under Tools - Protection.

I hope this form does not contain real information. If so, please remove it immediately.

Edit: I removed the PDF until you can confirm the info is not real. Please repost the PDF if so.

Hi David,  I apologize, I thought I had uploaded the redacted one.  Is there a way in the document to copy the fields on all 4 pages without the client's info and have a clean PDF without having to start over?

I tried using the redaction tool - but it will only redact the fields above the client's info (in the red box), not the info in the gray fillable boxes.  see attached screenshot.
