Question

Editing and typing legal document

I have Adobe Reader DC 2019 that was discontinued in to 2020.

I am working with legal documents that are both printable and writable. I was able to write continuously from line to line, to save, and to delete text.

My question is how do I enable the cursor to move to the next line so that I can continue to type information. At this time I am unable to get the cursor to move to the next line to continue my typed information.

My computer is a Mac and has El Capitan as the OS (OS X 10.11.6 and can not be upgraded nor can I get an upgraded Adobe due to the age of the computer and operating system).

Second question: is there anyway I can reactivate the prior Adobe application I had?

Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a free application, so we recommend you running it on the latest version. From the description given above, we assume that you have a paid version of Acrobat DC.

To answer the second question first, please confirm the exact application you are working with.

The document you are working with, where cursor doesn't move to next line, is it a fillable form you are filling in? because generally cursor moves automatically to the next line as soon as it finds the edge pdf or you can say the moment you press enter key.

This generally happen with a PDF form where form fields settings are disabled. To enable it, Open PDF form>Prepare form>right click on any form field>select Multi-line

If this doesn't help, then for better understanding, please share a sample video while working with PDF and moving to next line.

Thanks,

Akanchha
