Editing PDFs in browser stored in SharePoint/OneDrive

Hi,

I am new to Adobe DC and currently have Standard DC.

We have use cases where we have the SharePoint on-premises functionality to edit PDFs from SharePoint directly (no need to open Adobe first to edit PDFs)

In SharePoint Online and OneDrive, when I click to open a PDF, all I get is the option to view and to export it. I don't want that. I want to be able to edit the PDF in the browser or to automatically give me the option to edit it on the client application.

Is this possible at all? Do I need to up my subscription to enable this?

Thanks

Hi Juang,

Edited response-

No, practically this is not possible. You can not edit the SharePoint and OneDrive pdfs in web browser. What you are looking for, can not be achieved without opening the pdf files in Acrobat.

So far there is no such functionality that helps you editing pdfs in web browser.
