Editing Text in a Fillable Form Text Field In "Prepare Form"

I am adjusting the text in a fillable form in the "prepare form" setting. The text in the text field is not editable when selecting "edit pdf" and cannot be highlighted or changed in the "prepare form" view either. Under properties, there is only the title of the box, but no where to change the text that is appearing. In the screenshot, you see the numbers I am trying to change.
