Embed a PDF File in another PDF file as a clicable link to open

 A user is trying to embed a PDF file in another PDF file as an Icon from his local machine path to be able to be opened by another user in their system, however it does not work.

    Tried these steps too, however it does not work. 

    I explaining the issue once again, incase if I am not clear earlier. The user is trying to put up a PDF with in a PDF as an Icon at certain location of the page to be openable with a click when shared to others. However when this file is shared to others, they are not able to open it as link is broken when the file is shared with others.

    Attach the file and create a link to the attachment.

    Create a button field and set it to have an icon (under the field's Properties - Options tab) and select the desired icon.

    Then set its Mouse Up action (under Properties - Actions) to open a file, and select the target PDF. Note that path will be a relative one, unless the files are on different drives when the link is set.

    @try67  I did try this method, however the recipient is unable to open the embedded PDF from the shared PDF

    This method does not embed the second file in the first one. To do that you need to attach it first (just drop it into the Attachments panel in Acrobat), and then create the link to it, using the "Go to a page view" action.
