Is it possible to embed fonts into a pdf with Acrobat XI standard?

You can create PDF files with fonts embedded by applying the appropriate joboptions when creating the PDF either via one or another of the PDFMakers or via printing to the Adobe PDF PostScript printer driver.

However, if you want to embed fonts after the fact to existing PDF files for which fonts weren't embedded at PDF file creation time, you use the Preflight functions for font embedding — Preflight is only available with Acrobat Pro.
