Embed pdf within fillable form

I am trying to create a reusable brochure in the format of a form, so that my colleague can send this out along with a quote from excel which prints as a single page pdf.

I would like for him to be able to click and insert the quote, just like you would an image. Is this possible and how can I do this please?

You can use a image field and use the PDF file as image.

I thought they wanted to attach an Excel file, but if it's a PDF then yes, it can be used as the icon of an "imge" field.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I proposed the option of an image, but they still want a pdf.

So Excel -> PDF -> Image is what you are suggesting.

What application are they using to view the PDF file?

I am using Acrobat DC, but my colleague may be using Acrobat Reader.

Then the only way they can attach a file to the PDF is by using the Attach File commenting tool.
