Question

Embedded video classed as 3d content

Hi everyone

I'm having an issue where Acrobat seems to think an embedded mp4 video is '3d content.' The problem is that often this requires a user to enable 3d content in their preferences to then play the video. The pdf has been exported from InDesign.
Any suggestions on how to stop this from happening?

Much appreciated

Honestly, I suggest not embedding video in a PDF at all. The current versions of Acrobat and Reader on the desktop require Flash to play video and Flash support ends at the end of this year. Additionally, Acrobat on mobile doesn't play video content, nor does Share links to PDF that display in the browser.

You are far better off hosting the video elsewhere and adding a link to it in the PDF.
