Is there any way to do this?

The text I want to add is so big, it would make the PDF too large

"What results? You give me a confusing goose chase that would take me days to unravel and figure out.

The fact is you personally have no clue how to embd a footenote as a PDF."

Help yourself and heaven will help you.

It is possible to create a link in a document to open an attachment from a bookmark, a link object or a form field (button).
It also seems to me (to be checked) that you can even open a PDF attachment to a specific page.

That won't do...  I want to embed the PDF in a certain part of my PDF as a source that can be opened up inside my PDF at a certain point in the text where it is relevant.  Just supp;ying an attachment to the PDF without any explanation of what it refers to, without the proper context is worthless.  I want to add it as a a footnote on a certain page because if I really added it as a footnote, it would take up over 100 pages...  In effect I'm trying to add a 100 page footnote on a certain page and compress it into a single source that can be opened up or not without destroying the narrative of the actual text of my PDF with a 100 page footnote...  Do you understand?  Like adding a URL as a source in any comment...

You can do it using the Attach File commenting tool (the paperclip icon under Tools - Comment).

Double-click the page using this tool and then select the file you want to attach. It will look like this (red square added by me):

The user will then be able to open that file by double-clicking the paperclip icon.
