Hello I'm trying to embed a video from the internet to my PDF. When I put in the URL under file it says "No media file has been specified. Please select one and try again." Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thank you.

Thanks try67 that's really helpful. It's teaching materials so should be
fine.

It's accepting the URL however when I put it in there's just a white box
with a play button in the lower left corner but it doesn't play? Any ideas?

Don't enter the URL. Save the file locally using that link and then embed it directly.

You can't do that. You can either include a link that will open the video in the browser when clicked, or you can save the video file locally and then embed it in your PDF file. You can't embed an online video directly, though.

Thanks for your response try67. Because I'm presenting it  I won't be able to open the video in a browser. I can't save the video locally so is there anyway I could put it in via indd?
