Enable PDF Thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer bug when closing Adobe Acrobat

When enabling this feature (at least in Windows 11 22H2) and you close Acrobat a dialog box appears saying "Adobe quit unexepectedly.  Click 'Learn More" for possible fixes.    

 

Still occurr after uninstall/reinstall and even manual removal of all Adobe folders on system with Adobe tech.  Def a bug for fixing.

Please update the application to the recent version 23.08.20555 . Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
 
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

The update seems to have resolved the issue - hopefully it sticks
