Question

Enable replay of an embedded sound file

How can I enable replay of a sound file simply by clicking on the icon displayed before being clicked? I embed a speaker icon but after it's clicked, a "mini-player" appears and the "play" button is so small it can't be selected.

Hi Jamesg,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As you have mentioned above, when you click on the speaker icon, a mini player appears. Is that right?

I have tried adding the sound file to the PDF, however, there is no mini payer appears when I pay the sound file.

Please let us know how exactly you have added the sound file to the PDF.

Share the Acrobat and OS version installed on the machine.

It would be helpful if you can share the screenshot of the mini player you are referring to.

We will be waiting for your response.

Regards,

I've worked around it by adding a button, but I can only embed a .wav file. To keep the file size down, I have to use a low-quality .wav file.

The behavior described above happens when I "add a sound" using an .mp3 file, after playing the sound, the miniplayer appears.

Screen shot attached.
