enbedded pdfs in excel do not open and leed to crash of excel and acrobat

Hi I work on Windows 10 pro, MS Excel 365 Version 1901, Adobe Acrobat Standard DC Version 2019.010.20069.

Pdf documents, which I embedded into Excel will not open on other devices.

They even do not open on the device where they have been created after receiving and them via e-mail.

When I try to open them, it leed to crash/stuck of both, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

Do you have any idea how to solve this issue?
