Error 109

Hello. I was reading my PDF file one day ago. I highlighted and added some text to my file. But know I can't add text or can't underline and circle it. And when I click to save button it says "The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document" (109). This problem appears only in one of my files. Others work normally. I've updated latest version of Adobe. May it be the cause of the problem? (windows 7, updated version 20.006.20042) And what should I do to fix this problem? Help please...

Hi Farida

We are sorry for the trouble,  As described you are getting the error message "The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document" (109) specific to one PDF file as other works fine

It is a file specific issue and occurs when the file is corrupt and something is wrong with the PDF structure.

Are you doing Save or Save As and getting the error message?

If you are doing the 'Save As'  option, please try the following preference settings and see if that helps. Go to Edit (Windows) > Preferences > Documents > Uncheck 'Save as optimizes for fast web view' > Click OK and reboot the application and check.

If it still doesn't work, please try to get a new copy of the document or try to recreate the PDF file from the original source file. You can also try saving the file as .ps file and then convert it back to pdf and check.
