error 117 in acrobat pro DC

Hi, 

I have saved 30 image files as PDF (using inkscape). 

 

20 of the images open fine as a PDF but 10 of them fail to open and I get the following error: 
"There was an error processing a page. There was a problem opening this document (117)." 

 

I've tried to create the image again and resave, and even just modify a file I know worked but still no joy. 

 

Any ideas??
