Error 1722 while installing Adobe Acrobat Pro

Hi there,

I'm getting the below error while trying to install Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Can anybody advise how to fix it?

I had a similar error while installing on a Mac. Search the disk you are installing on for any folder with the "adobe" in it. Delete it and try reinstalling.

Error 1722 with Windows installer package of Acrobat DC

I got this error installing Acrobat Reader DC on Windows 8.1. Windows was installed that day + 3 other applications without issue. None of the suggestions I could find online worked, so I ended up reinstalling Windows.

I had an old hard drive with Windows installed on it attached via USB when I first tried installing Acrobat Reader. I wonder if that had something to do with it? Disconnecting it made no difference however.
