Error: Adobe Document Cloud does not currently support your file type

When I try to send a Photoshop psd file using "Attach an instant file link" in Outlook, I get an error saying "Adobe Document Cloud does not currently support your file type". I have been using this feature to send psd files for several months, and now I can't. Has something changed?

    Hi everyone, is there an update on this issue? I have a similar problem but for Adobe Illustrator files (.ai files) I will post by troubleshooting steps here: 

     

    User is trying to attach a Adobe Illustrator file (.ai) using the adobe plug in for Outlook:

    When they do it for Adobe Illustrator files (.ai files) they get this error: "Adobe Document Cloud does not currently support your attachments file type" 

    Currently the user is able to use the share via link plug in method for .pdf files, and other file types. This means if the same .ai file is converted to a pdf file, they can attach it using the via link plug in method. 

    Verified and confirmed they were able to last use this method of attaching a .ai file via link on 3/3/2023

    The work around I gave the user was that I was able to open the .ai file in Adobe Illustrator and save the file as a illustrator template (.ait file instead), once I downloaded the the file as .ait I was able to attach that file via link using the plug in method

    Was there a change where attaching files via link (adobe plug in for outlook) don't accept .ai files anymore?

      Did you start experiencing the issue recently with a particular file?

      Share the screenshot of the error message you get.

      We will require more information to find the root cause.

        I simply go to the "Attach an Instant File Link" tab, select the file, and I get a pop up message saying that "Adobe Document Cloud does not currently support my attachments file type". Sometimes, when I would attach multiple files to an email, I would be give the option to "Send as Adobe Document Cloud link". For the past several months, since this became an option, I have been using this to send Photoshop ".psd" files that are too large to send as normal attachments. In the last couple of weeks, I have gotten this message everytime I try to send a ".psd" file. I have sent screenshots of the error pop up and the option to send as a Adobe Document Cloud link. I am able to attach a ".psd" file by using the "Attach File" tab, but some of the files I am sending can be over 40 MB, and those are too large to send that way.
