Error "Cannot find or create the font 'JJTGUU+CIDFont+3'" opening a PDF file

Hi,

they send me a signed PDF that when opened with Acrobat Reader DC generated this error:

Cannot find or create the font 'JJTGUU+CIDFont+3'

If I open File->Properties->Font I can see this situation:

Is it a problem that I can solve in some way or do I have to ask for the file to be resent?

Thank you for reaching out.

The issue occurs as the font is not embedded in the document.

As the PDF is signed, you will not be able to make any changes to that PDF.

Please check with the sender/ creator of the document if the font can be embedded.
