Error for connecting to my Adobe account in Acrobat Reader DC

I cannot connect to my account when using Acrobat Reader DC on a laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate.

I keep receiving the below quoted error message:

"a network error occurred while trying to connect",

Although there is nothing wrong with my Internet connection.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As mentioned you are unable to signin and getting the above mentioned error message.

 

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

 

Also, please check the steps/suggestions shared in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/error_occurred_while_sign_in.html and see if that works for you.
