I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 but whenever I open it can an error: "Installation Problem: IMSLib not found. Acrobat servivces will not work". When I click OK, I get "Adobe Application Manager, required ot verify your license, is missing or damage, Please download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager"

www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager

Yet, the URL provided takes me to Adobe creative cloud, which I don't have. I don't see the application manager download anywhere.

How do I fix this error for Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017??

I was finally able to fix this issue on the multiple computers in my environment. Here are the steps i took:

1. Uninstall Acrobat in Control Panel - Programs and Features, then restart the machine

2. Delete the following directories (If you have other Adobe products installed, be careful with what you delete here):

     a. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

     b. C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 2017

     c. C:\Users\All users\AppData\Local\Adobe

     d. C:\Users\All users\AppData\LocalLow\Adobe

     e. C:\Users\All users\AppData\Roaming\Adobe

     f. C:\Windows\Temp

3. Reinstall Acrobat, then install any updates for it.

I have not seen the issue arise since performing these steps. Like I mentioned above, if you have other Adobe products installed then be very careful what you delete from these directories. Specifically steps a, c, d, e. There are probably a couple steps here that aren't necessary to fix this, but all performing all of these steps worked for me on 4 different PC's. Hope this helps.

This is happening on multiple Windows 10 machines at my company as well. I've tried all of the "fixes" in the following articles with no luck. That includes uninstalling/reinstalling Acrobat (with and without the "cleaner" tool), and copying the IMSLib.dll file from one directory to another.

It's hard to find documentation on this issue for the standalone (perpetual license) version of Acrobat. Most everything points to creative cloud which we obviously don't have here.
