Error in the image when convering Word document to PDF

We are using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro at work to convert Microsoft Word documents to PDF format.

Recently we observed that when Word document contained graphs (e.g. from Microsoft Excel) the image was not displayed correctly in PDF and portions of image (e.g. axis and bars from column chart) were simply missing. The other text on the page appeared correctly and Acrobat did not display any notification about an error in the conversion process.

Even when image was converted and embedded in Word as Picture (enhanced metafile) same error occurred.

Is this common error with Adobe Acrobat XI Pro? How can we avoid this in the future?

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

I will confirm again that your version is not suppoprted anymore. Adobe stopped supporting your version since 2017.

Any issues that arise from using that old and unsupported version is at the users own discretion to deal with. And most Adobe staff, employees and community memebers will encourage Acrobat XI users to upgrade to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC because some issued have already been addressed in more recent versions of Acrobat Pro.

However, if your Acrobat XI was working fine before and now you have this problem, the only thing that seems to resolve some  issues is to click on HELP--->> Repair Installation.

Then manually reapply the last planned update for that version. Get it from here:
