Error message when combining PDF's

I'm receiving an error message when I try to combine PDF's. I combine files daily so I'm not sure what the problem is. This has been happening on and off for 3 days. After I drag and drop PDF's in order to combine, I click to download and an error pops up that says "there is an operation already in use" but in reality there is no prior operation in use. I also see at the same time the combining download icon circulating idle non-stop. I log off and log on to acrobat and have tried Mozilla, Internet Explorer and Chrome but the same issue happens. Help!

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. As per the description above, you are getting an error message "there is an operation already in use" while combining PDF files, Is that correct?

Please check for any pending updates of Acrobat from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after installing the updates and try combining the PDF files and see if this brings any difference.

Try combining the PDF files through a browser https://cloud.acrobat.com/combinepdf and see if you still get an error message.

Is it specific to one or two PDF files or you get the error message while combining any PDF files? If it is specific to one or two PDF files, Is it possible to share the PDF files with us so that we can try it at our end?

To share the file, please use Adobe Send feature, upload the file, share the link to files via private message only, How Do I Send Private Message
