Error Message whilst Scanning! Cannot Scan Using Adobe DC

I am using Acrobat Pro DC which I love accept for on big major problem I cannot scan using Accrobat Pro DC I keep getting this message.

"An error was encountered while running scanned image optimization. Aborting scanning operation."

Scanning worked once or twice but I now keep getting these error messages.

I am using mac mojave 10.14.6

The scanner works indepentley through other means but I would prefer to use through Adobe.

 

I would be gratefule for any assistance.

    Hey Rini,

     

    Sorry to hear about the trouble caused and thanks for confirming the OS version. 

     

    1. Since you have confirmed the application is Acrobat DC, would you mind checking the exact version of it? Open Acrobat>About Acrobat>Version? 
    2. Open Acrobat>Help>Check for update https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html 
    3. Does it causes trouble scanning any specific document? Would you mind scanning a different one?
    4. What is the workflow you follow to scan files? Do you Create PDF from scanner or Create PDF from Acrobat through scanner?
    5. Download the latest scanner drivers.

     

    Let us know your findings after performing these test.

    Thanks for reaching out. As described above you are not able to scan the PDF and getting the error message, correct?

     

    What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC installed? To check the version go to Help > Click, About Adobe Acrobat DC. Please check for any missing updates and try updating the application. Go to Help > Check for Updates.

     

    Is this s behavior with a particular file or with any file you want to scan? Please try scanning a different document and check.

     

    Please try the troubleshooting steps provided in the help article https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-scanner-issues-acrobat.html and see if that helps.
