error updating Acrobat Pro XI
I have installed and uninstalled Acrobat XI Pro about 10 times from disk. I used the tools for completely remove Acrobat and Acrobat Reader just to be sure.
Every time I try to check for updates, it finds an update, goes through the whole process to the end and then rolls back. Error 1328. A temp file it created it can't find. I have turned off all the back ground programs and stopped my anti-virus, went through all the steps again and same problem (including running the tools to remove acrobat and acrobat reader).
It won't update. I am running Windows 10 64bit.
Is there a way to down load the update and then tell it to ignore the error or anything?

PS I tried downloading the program online and installing it. IT won't acknowledge my license. So I went back to the Disk install. I even cpied the files to my desktop and installed from that folder as it seems that is what the software wants in some installers.
Is there any hope?
