Error updating to Acrobat Pro 11.1.20

Got an update notice this AM to go to 11.0.20 and when I attempt the update I get an error message that the app has been "changed" and needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled and then updated if necessary.  I'd love to except the uninstaller doesn't work and the Help pulldown won't let me deactivate Acrobat to try to uninstall that way.  Anyone else seeing this?  Thanks!

Red-faced, a little.... closed EVERYTHING on my MacBook Air, restarted, then downloaded the update.  A miracle!! It works and I'm at 11.0.20.  Thannks!

Hi richardb24716460,

Please try cleaner tool to uninstall the application if you are on Windows.

Run this tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and then restart your system.

Then re-install Adobe Acrobat from here Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X and try to update the application to the latest path available.

Let us now how it goes.

Regards,

Meenakshi

I should have mentioned at the beginning I use MacOS X.  So sorry not to put that in at the very first!!  Is there such a cleaner tool for Macs?  And Thank you for getting back to me so quickly!
