Errors when opening a converted pdf document using Adobe converter in Microsoft word

Hi all,

 

I have used Adobe to convert a large pdf file (417 pages with many pictures) and I am experiencing issues opening the converted word file in Microsfot word. I have tried on two different laptops and the same error message appears:

 

Word experienced an error trying to open the file.

Try these suggestions.

* Check the file permissions for the document or drive.

* Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space.

* Open the file with the Text Recovery converter.

 

The file permission and free memory space doesn't appear to be the issue.

 

If you have any suggestions, please help!

Hi @ashleigh23,

 

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

 

We made some improvements with the PDF maker in the subsequent releases. 

Would you mind updating the app to the latest version (2024.005.20xxx) and let us know if the issue is fixed for you?

 

If not, please share a sample file where you experience the issue, for us to test the issue in house.

Thank you for reporting the issue and apologies for inconvenience caused. Can you share OS , Acrobat version and file size (pdf and doc) on which conversion was performed ? Please share the screenshot of the error observed. Also would it be possible for you to share the issue document with us for investigation ?
